oneplanetmikey is me and I am a gayboy who spends his days working at a visual arts college in Melbourne, Australia.   

I loathed the Howard government and consider him to be a criminal.  I’m not too fond of George Jnr either, and am still very angry about the terrible and terrifying war on terror. 

I write about politics, the media, music, sex, art, public transport and religion.  I loathe tabloid television and would like to see the practitioners of the 6.30 programmes taken to prison. 

I sort of got a boyfriend now after years of not having so much as a teddy bear to cuddle. 

Currently I am listening to Dappled Cities Fly, The Bravery and re-mastered Depeche Mode in glorious 5.1 surround sound.

My favourite album is Songs of Faith and Devotion by Depeche Mode. 

My favourite novel is Animal Farm by George Orwell. 

Drop the Dead Donkey is my all-time favourite television programme. 

I have a degree in performance art.

I am polite.

I like booze.

My doctor has written me a certificate citing hypochondria. 

I am not a member of any political party.
